Good morning. Happy and blessed Sunday to all.
Just attended an online mass presided by a good friend Fr. Pao from the Society of St. Paul. What an inspiring and uplifting homily. He talked about listening and communicating. If you have the ability to understand what is being said, you are intelligent but when you can listen to what is left unsaid, you are wise. The most important thing in communication is to hear what is not being said.
Do you know the anagram of listen? It’s silent. Listening and communicating help us to connect with others and share ideas. Communication clarifies information, reducing a waste time. It helps builds relationship, teamwork and trust. It is a two-way means of exchanging informations in the form of an opinion and ideas between two people.
Let’s take a look at blogging. What would it be if we don’t have fellow bloggers who are there listening in silence to what we have to say? Interaction is a welcome activity with other bloggers. There are people though who just press the like button silently reading our posts. Somehow, in our blogging journey, we learn to listen well with our ears and see wonderful things with our eyes. Listen from the heart❤🧡💙
Back to my painting project. Have a nice week ahead.
Listening is a bigger part of communicating than speaking. Have a wonderful Sunday.

I love that the anagram of listen is silent.(I only know that the anagram of stress is dessert!) I had never thought about us listening to each other as we read posts. You are exactly right my friend.

This is a good post, Arlene. I love the sound of silence. And you are so right. We can’t listen and talk at the same time.

Yes, most of us are too timid to say everything verbally.
