Loving Oreo

He is so fond of jumping up the bed and has his belly rub every time we see each other. Every time I say kiss, he would rub his wet nose to my face. He is growing old, I wonder how old he is now in dog years. Every breed has his own equivalent in dog years but they are not the same.

Another photo of the lovely Mt. Matwiltwil. Sunrise at its best. The world is certainly a lovely place.
Simpol

This is my second try of recipes in the book Simpol by Tatung Sarthou. It is called Sweet and Sour Pork. It is pretty easy to follow his recipe. One thing though, I didn’t have carrots inside the ref so I substituted two medium-size potato, fried it after frying the pork. It tasted just as good as those I have tasted before. The pineapple chunks balanced the sweetness of the sauce. It’s flavor is just perfect. No garnishings yet, I took the photo direct from the steel wok.I am tempted to try another recipe, it’ll be chicken next time.
(This is crazy, I could see the photo here while I am on edit mode but it does not appear on the blog itself).
Memories

This photo popped up on Facebook’s Memories this morning and I am reminded of the time I took shot of it more than nine years ago when I was just starting taking macro shots with my camera.
This picture is actually green moss clinging to our perimeter wall behind the house and that mountain-like structure you see is our concrete fence. I’ve always love experimenting on water droplets, capturing those tiny jewels on cam before they reach the ground. A minute here, a few seconds there. It’s divine!
One of my friends who is a professional photographer said he liked the composition because it was beyond ordinary and those water droplets turned out like tiny flowers. It just happened. I remember blogging about this when likes and comments at WordPress were not yet that so common.
It’s one of my favorite shots. When one is lucky enough to find a nice subject 🙂
What A Lovely Surprise

Odette, a friend, surprised me with a visit and gave me a brand new hardbound copy of Richard Paul Evans’ latest book entitled Noel Street. She is so thoughtful when it comes to providing me with books by my favorite authors. She gave me several books and blank journals in the past years. I introduced Richard Paul Evans’ works to her and since then she had provided me with copies that are not sold here. And she likes the works of RPE too. It’s always a “one copy for me, one copy for her”. Her kids who are based abroad know this 🌝🥰☺
I enjoyed our chats while we had dinner at KFC near our place. We both wanted to avoid the traffic so KFC was our best choice. She even bought a barrel of chicken and side dishes to bring home to Josef.
I love unexpected meetings. They are priceless moments that a friendship brings.
When friends meet, hearts warm👭🌺🍻
Chicken Curry, Anyone?

Maybe, we cook it in different ways but the taste would always be that delicious, a blend of so many spices and the nutty flavor of coconut cream.
I just cooked chicken curry for lunch. I have so many spices on different Asian and Singaporean recipes that Nissa brought home from their trip in Singapore. This is a yellow curry flavor. We also have the green and the red ones. I’ll partner this with sauteed string beans.
Enjoy Shooting?

Yeay, I’m enjoying tinkering with my new phone. The three cameras are great. One is for selfie but I am not fond of selfie, one is for wide-angle shot which can be used to zoom out and shoot landscape. The rear camera is for regular use.
A Quiet Night

After his restless sleep last night waiting for Josef to come home, he finally went back to sleep this afternoon and early this evening. He was quite comfortable in a corner with his travel pillow. Haha, sometimes he snores.
