Nate and I had a nice video chat a while ago. He showed me their Christmas decor focusing on the Christmas tree.
“I didn’t put up ours” I said and he asked why.
“Can you tag along when your mom and dad come over?”
“They won’t let me go out”, he answered. I told him there’s the car.
“I have some gifts for you”, I said.
“Thank you Nonna, I would not miss that. I’ll ask Mom”
.It is always nice talking to Nate even just through video chat. I miss the little guy. Oh but he is growing taller everyday and a little chubby too π
Video chats are better than not seeing them at all!

Yes Maggie, it is wonderful to see them while talking to you. Nate is so fond of making faces. The laughter is precious too. Thanks for dropping by.

We love our video chats, too.

I agree, Arlene. I love video chatting with my grandies, who live out of state. I even video chat with my eleven year old grandson, who lives four miles away. LOL. He loves to chat face to face. I do visit them, and vice versa, during these trying times, because, they do not go out and about, anywhere. My daughter and son-in-law are very protective of their well being and health.

Good thing you still get to see them Lorri, my grandson always insists on video chats every time.

I was unexpectedly warm this afternoon so we sat outside a long distance from our grandchildren and visited for an hour. We miss them so much as I know you miss Nate. We are due for several snow storms, so it will be a long while before we can see them in person.

Speaking of which, I looked for the Catholic church in your area on the net. I imagined you were there attending the mass.

Thanks. Yes I like to “attend” Mass from there. So did you get to see our wreath and candles? And did they pan any of the stained glass? The church is from the mid 1800’s and has a lovely interior.

I wish you have a Facebook accounts. Most churches here use social media for their masses. I did and I even attended mass online. Your church is lovely π
