This song was playing in my head early this morning. Today is the third day of Christmas.
♫♫♪♫On the third day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
Three French hens,
Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree.♪♪♫♪

I love this Christmas Carol!
You just need the next line to get that earworm moving. Here you go! On the fourth day of Christmas, my True Love gave to me 4 Colly birds… 3 French Hens, 2 Turtle Doves, and a Partridge in a Pear Tree.
I sing it as Colly birds you might say Calling. It’s all good.😃

Yes, it is a lovely Christmas carol. The 12th day is on the 5th of January and Epiphany is on 6th January which is the first Sunday of the year. Thanks Deborah 🙂

Carols are played on loops in most shops here. They become so familiar, they have lost much of their original meaning.
Best wishes, Pete.

It’s definitely a memory game/song!
I call always remember the first 5 days of that song,
but from 6 to 12–I get all of the gifts mixed up on the wrong days.
