Wow! I didn’t expect this – Mich sending me another one of her books entitled Locker, a collection of poetic flash fiction stories.
‘I could never return your kindness Mich except to say thank you so much for your generosity’.
I love the book cover and scanned the stories. I am pretty sure I would love them all. I temporarily shelved the book I’m reading because I am simply excited to read these two books.
This is it, a book from my author/poet friend Mich. It arrived last night. A beautiful trade paperback book with glossy pages and bookmark too. She signed the book aside from the card on the second photo. It’s all of 268 pages, second edition. I asked her to just send one because I am just excited to see samples of her poems. I started reading It Ain’tWinning If Without You last night. So inspiring. She is truly a gifted poet. I even saw a poem she included written by Ivor Stevens, another friend here.
Here’s an introductory note from the book cover. “Michelle is a renowned international bestselling author whose books consistently reach the #1 spot on Amazon within 24 hours of their release. She has five consecutive #1 bestselling titles to her name”. And that includes this lovely book. And I love her sweet message.❤️❤️❤️
This is also available in Lazada, cannot afford to buy it though. My good friend Mich is a generous soul. Imagine we only met at WordPress through our blogs. A friend here at WordPress Randall Collis wants to buy one of her books.
This is simply amazing. I met a Filipina blogger and poet recently and we got close exchanging comments on our posts. She wanted to read my past poems. I told her I dont’t call them poems but ‘thoughts and ramblings’ because I am not a poet like her. But she lovingly commented on some she found on my blog. Coming from a seasoned poet, I am so glad she likes them.
She is on Goodreads and most of her books are rated five stars. She is on Amazon too, a five- times bestselling author at Amazon. She requested for my e-mail and said she will send me some of her books as gifts. Nahiya naman ako bigla. I just suggested if she could send me one. She resides abroad but is temporarily here for some commitments. She’s Michelle Ayon Navajas.
The perks of meeting people from all walks of life…beautiful!
It's been some years since I started this blog. Supposedly, it was only to share my plight as a cancer patient and survivor but over the years it has somehow evolved into something personal about my life and my family.
So really glad to have met you all wonderful people out there. Someone commented once that he liked the title of this blog, Dreams and Escapes. Dream on, there are more things in life than we really think. Be happy, you only live once. Sometimes you also need an escape from the vicissitudes of life and this blog helps me cope. Welcome. Feel free to leave your comments, I do welcome them.
It took me so long to access this blog, I wonder what happened really. It is always touch and go so I stay with my main blog Dreams and Escapes which you can access here. This is just a trial post once more. I could not even see the tags and categories….whew!
It’s been a while. I am reblogging this here from my main blog Dreams and Escapes. I hope you’ll find time to visit it to. My gosh, I got so excited when I saw it. There are several designs actually and all with Biblical passages. One of the vendors in our subdivision is selling them. […]
I can’t believe I haven’t touched and visited this blog like forever (an exaggeration of course) but I was so focused on updating my main blog so I forgot about this. Early this morning while I was watering the plants, I looked up at our jackfruit trees and saw this. I was hoping I could […]
