I recently started a page on FB, for my friends who don’t get to visit my blog here. A friend messaged me earlier today and that started our lovely conversation.
Karen had worked in the US and recently retired, came home and had a house built in our province. Come to think of it, we haven’t seen each other since grade school because her family migrated to the US although we see each other from time to time on Facebook. She will be going to Manila on Saturday because her pet dog will have a thorough check-up. She asked if we could see each other. I don’t do much commute nowadays because of my health. I invited her to come over instead and we’ll have lunch here. She agreed.
Wow, I am excited that I will be seeing another friend whom I haven’t seen for more than fifty decades. I have always said in my previous posts that when friends meet, hearts warm.
