When Friends Meet

Finally, Karen and I met today after more than fifty years of not seeing each other. What a lovely meeting. She brought her Shih Tzu dog and a friend from our place in Pangasinan. She enjoyed meeting our nine Shih Tzu and Shih Poo doggies.

We got in touch only thru Facebook and Messenger. Her family migrated to the US when we were in Grade V and we haven’t seen each other until today. What a  joyful reunion reminiscing about our younger years, talking about our fur babies, family life and her life in Germany and the US. She suggested if we could meet again once her new house is done. She is settling here in the Philippines but she has to go back to the US every year to visit members of her family.

She took some shots and I am sharing one here.
