I’d like to thank my good friend Darlene Foster for sending me her book Amanda in Scotland, The Standing Stones via pdf. I downloaded it last night through my ReadEra and started reading it. I haven’t finished it yet because I am monitoring the latest broadcast/news on super typhoon Pepito.
I love how you write Darlene. Your writing style is simple but truly arresting. I love the exchange of conversations between the characters, no dull moments there and the way you describe places in Scotland particularly Arran. I actually googled the place and loved the photos of Brodick Castle, Goatfell, Machrie More Standing Stones, Holy Isle and other places mentioned in your book. I will let you know when I’m done.
