Write about your first computer.
My youngest brother Noel was so interested in electronics when he was still a student so he took ECE (Electronics And Communications Engineering) also at the University of Santo Tomas. During his last two years of study, he indulged in radio communications and later brought home piece by piece computer parts and assembled our first computer at home. Of course, he bought the monitor and keyboard separately and when his class was over, he would attach some pieces on the CPU until he got it running. Back in those days during the early 90’s, all we had by way of communication was through ICQ. Later on, he set up a Yahoo Mail account for me before he left for Guam when he graduated to supervise the technical side of Kodak Philippines in their branch there. That started his journey to stay in the United States when he applied for work in the mainland. His family has been there since 1992.
My three brothers are all gifted. I remember my oldest brother who used to assemble transistor radio and had some clients doing repairs. He is a board topnotcher in radio telegraphy. Alden was our architect. He chose to stay in the province and worked as Municipal Administrator for a time in our town until his death almost three years ago.
I wrote about something similar to this prompt years ago about the functions of pencil and eraser. I could not remember now what year it was published.
