I finally got the results of my laboratory tests this afternoon. Although my FBS is still a bit elevated, my creatinine is normal, RBC and WBC are normal, uric acid is normal and my platelet count has gone down too. I’ll have my check-up with my nephrologist onΒ Monday.
Yesterday, our municipal office delivered the free medicines for highblood and another 30 days free Gliclazide for my sugar. I need to replenish my medical prescription before the end of the month and it will be good for another three months. They need to be updated so I could avail of the free medicines. Despite the free meds, I still have to buy other medications. I am hoping that by the time my endocrinologist comes back by April, my HbAic would have gone down. I don’t want to consult another endocrinologist since I am already comfortable with the present one.
Good news!! Meds can get expensive so I’m glad you can get some for free.
