Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you?
Playtime does not necessarily means that you have to go out of yourself to play games with your friends or kids.
For me, playtime is doing something that you enjoy. The ‘me’ times are important, Relaxing with a book is playtime for me too. I lately committed myself to read 80 books this year at Goodreads Reading Challenge. Last year, I promised myself to read 75 books but I finished 104.
I started reading Guilt By Association by Susan R. Loan late last December and I am just in the middle of it. It is a first novel by the author. It is a provocative story that mirrors some headlines in today’s world, an account of a woman’s struggle to triumph over the pain of a vicious rape. How she rebuilds her life and confronts the man who nearly destroyed it is the gist of the story. I’ll consider this my first book of the year.
And let me repeat, reading is playtime too.
