For want of something to do, I visited the garden around 1pm. It was cloudy and there was a small breeze blowing.
I trimmed the Fukien tea plants and my lone Eugenia.
I am still looking for something to read since I finished Lonesome Dove a few days ago. I love Christmas stories at this time and I can only think of one author who writes Christmas stories best. It’s Richard Paul Evans. I have collected his books since I discovered one a few years ago in one of my trips to National Bookstore. I have completed The Walk series. A friend from Canada sent me the third book, another friend sent me the second and fourth book from the US. I bought the first one and another friend who loves RPE too completed the fifth one. They are all hardbound with glossy book jackets. I love how he writes a lovely quote at the beginning of each chapter.
There is one, a sequel to Lonesome Dove called Streets of Laredo by Larry McMurtry but I am still full of cowboy stories on that more than 900 pages book of his. I have some on my TBR but I am not inclined to start them yet. I’m done with 101 books so far this year. Lonesome Dove is a five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for me.
