I went back to the munisipiyo this morning to get my free medications. They were giving gifts for those whose birthday fall in October. Since they usually deliver such on the day of one’s birthday, I just inquired if I could get it in advance and they gave it to me, a small bag of groceries and an umbrella. Every year, they always include umbrella in the package. I often send them to some relatives in the province. I also have my Mom’s senior ID cancelled.
This might be a simple grocery package but I admire the gestures of our local government. A week ago, I also received a small sum from our own barangay. Medicines even if not all are covered, are given every month. You just have to update the prescriptions every three months.
