In the past years of blogging, I always wrote about month’s end and beginning. It was kind of a summary of things that happened and the anticipation of what will happen in the next month. I know, we have to live by the day, being thankful of everyday blessings, being grateful that we are still alive and kicking.
It was an uneventful September month. Aside from the daily chores that I have to do, the only thing I’ve done so far is to go to the wet market and scheduled a check-up with a new nephrologist at the Medical City Hospital. In a few days, I need to undergo those numerous laboratory tests then go back to the nephrologist to show him the results. Going to the hospital is a little inconvenient because I have to travel about an hour reaching it whereas before, it was only a ten-minute tricycle ride and a five-minute walk to the Medical City Clinic, a satellite branch of the main hospital.
I was able to garden in the afternoon, prune the growing plants and uproot unwanted grass. I haven’t finished reading the 900 plus pages of one of the books I started last week. I guess it would be hard to summarise it considering that there are four parts of the book. I am enjoying it though.
I am looking forward to October, aside from being my birth month, it is the month of the Holy Rosary and Mama Mary. Hopefully, this month would also lessen the rainy days. We are only on the 10th weather disturbance, we average 15 to 18 in a year.
