Can’t believe I’m done with sixteen books at Goodreads Reading Challenge for this year. Five of six achievements collected for the Community Favorites Challenge, the last one will be revealed on March 3. I love it since one gets to read not only historical books which are my favorites but a variety of subjects. This is only until April and they will probably add more in the following months.
I’d like to try to read The Red Tent by Anita Diamant. It’s about the biblical characters in Genesis.
This was a busy Saturday. Josef and I tackled the overgrown Canna outside. It was a back-breaking job. We have to cut the stems with flowers because they are blocking the walkway. We live in a corner lot. The front was planted with dwarf Santan that bloom all year round while the corner and the side was planted with Canna to cover the wall/concrete fence from being vandalized. Some undisciplined youth are fond of it. And you’ll never see them because they write those unreadable figures with paint. So annoying.
