A Good Leader

What makes a good leader?

There are so many people who want to lead but they may not possess the characteristics of one. As I glimpse into our present political scenario here in our country, there are more who line their pockets with gold than acting or being a good leader.

An open mindedness and clearheaded attitude  is a must. One must have problem-solving  skills. He/she must  know when and how to delegate work or take on something that others can’t. He/she must take accountability while being flexible and adaptable. General respect and empathy towards others count a lot. Above all, he/she must have confidence to lead. Acknowledging one’s mistakes makes for a good leadership.

To summarize, a good leader must possess:

Resilience

Gratitude

Courage

Integrity

Communication

Self-awareness

Respect

Compassion

Vision

Leadership is something we are not born with, it is more on a learning ability to lead.
