Sometimes, I wanted to change the look of my blog by changing themes but I always end up going back to this reliable one for me, the Misty Look.

There are more free themes going up the site but somehow when you feel just a little comfortable with your chosen one, you are reluctant to try something else.

I was looking at the options for text colors for my Heartland series earlier but I could not find it. I have to make a little research  to do it. It used to be there all the while and all you have to do is to highlight the words you want to change into another text color and presto, you’re done.  It’s gone.

According to the article I read “You can easily solve this issue by clicking on the “Toolbar Toggle” button, which is the second icon from the right under the “Add Media” and “Add Contact Form” buttons.”

“Once you’ve clicked on that button, you’ll see an icon with an underlined “A” and a down arrow fourth from the left. If you hover your mouse over it, “text color” will pop up.”

Got it. I was just wondering why it suddenly disappeared from the options above unless you click that toggle button.  Oh, they keep changing the rules and if you are not aware of it, you’ll be lost.

Some bloggers don’t mind if they have a high stats or not, I do. It is a measure and a barometer wherein you would know whether people are reading your blog posts or not. Some don’t have WordPress  account but they read and visit. Occasionally, you get comments from people you hardly see here. Presently, I have a total of  592,509 stats and I hope, it’ll reach 600,000 by year end.  It doesn’t matter much if I have thousands of followers or not, most of them don’t engage anyway. 4,000 followers are good enough for me.

How’s your blogging journey?

You might think this topic is a serious  stuff. Perish the thought because I am only considering if I have to use another theme for my blog.  There are more than a hundred to choose from but I am  in a quandary whether to maintain my ever reliable Misty Look by Sadish or switch to a more daring theme called Parament. I love the clear lines of Misty Look, no clatter and no dark edges on the side. It’s a fluid two-column white theme with a large custom header.

Parament is a great all-purpose theme featuring a dark color scheme with bright orange highlights and a textured background.  That’s how WordPress describes it. I am really a coward when it comes to trying new look for my blog. You know, something that says, stick to things familiar and you would never go wrong. But what I like about Parament is its bright orange highlight. Didn’t I tell you that orange lifts me up? It makes me long for the sunrise and enjoy the beauty of a  sunset. Oh well, it’s hard to choose really. When I am brave enough to try another theme, be sure you’ll see a new Dreams and Escapes, not the contents of course but the look of it.

I was surprised to see that my blog on Jericho Rosales got a lot of views today. And I took a peek at his website, so far, I love what I saw. Maybe when I am not so busy, I will really explore  his site and probably see the real Jericho Rosales.  Join me, I just posted the link to my blogroll. You might just enjoy seeing the guy behind those lovely eyes and mesmerizing smiles.
