They call themselves Pentatonix and they are all gifted singers. When Christmas season nears, I always listen to their music on YouTube. Their beautiful voices are out of this world. The blending, the vocals…wow!
If you want to listen to them, you can always visit YouTube. There might be copyright infringement so I don’t want to post their songs here.
Have a beautiful Tuesday my dear friends. I am finishing a lovely book at the moment. Will get back to you later.
The Christmas clock says it is only 4 days and 15 hours to go before Christmas as I write this.
Looking forward to Christmas Eve too when we will again attend the Christmas Eve mass before we prepare something for Noche Buena. I am planning to cook some more recipes in advance so I won’t be so busy when the time comes. Would just want to celebrate the time with the family. Just made two kilos of embutido a few days ago and they are now kept in the freezer. You only need to reheat/steam them again before eating.
I was looking at my earlier posts on Facebook’s Memories on this same day until last year. They have also made a video on how 2018 went based on earlier postings. I found this photo I took of our Christmas tree years before.
I used to make these memes via my Canon Ixus camera but now my camera is gone and I haven’t replaced it yet.
And this too:
When I think of the years I’ve written about life, the beauty of it and all its angst, I sometimes wonder where I am coming from. The beauty of life, we celebrate it. We smile at those memories that come and go leaving us breathless at times. We embrace the life the way we should, anticipating another lovely day to celebrate. Yes, life is a celebration.
This paragraph is an excerpt from one of my earlier posts here at WordPress but I could no longer remember its title. Senior moments, really!
After gardening yesterday and an early scheduled washing today, it is time to relax and just enjoy the Christmas music I am listening to from YouTube. Yes, I just love the Pentatonix. I love this best, the Little Drummer Boy. Oh but I love them all. Enjoy the music.
I can’t really say 2017 (which is about to end) is a busy year for me. There were those days when I was able to meet with friends but compared to the other years, it was kind of silent. Mostly, the days and months were spent with family, experimenting in the kitchen, catching up on reading a lot of books and gardening. Listening to music was set aside for a while but it’s nice to listen now to the Christmas songs and carols. There was a time I would bring out my Christmas DVD collections as early as October every year but now I just listen to YouTube or at Josef’s Bose mini soundlink. He has a lovely playlist on his phone that he play every weekend when he is around. I get to listen to new tunes and old ones as well.
The other day, Josef asked me to give him a hint on what I want to have as Christmas gift. I told him that whatever he thinks of giving is okay with me. They always say, it is not the amount of the gift but the thought that counts, right? I’ve always wanted to have a nice headset though that I can use when I am watching a movie or videos on YouTube or listening to some music. At the moment, I am using his Sony headset listening to Pentatonix. Great music, wonderful voices.
I usually don’t post videos here but this is just too good. I remember my favorite choir, the Gunther Kallmann choir. I have their DVD album and a cassette tape too but now I just listen on YouTube.
As for blogging, I gained new friends and followers but I reduced the number of bloggers that I follow. Some of them have been inactive for quite sometime and a few marked their blogs private.
And it’s 4 days, 5 hours and 40 minutes to go before Christmas 🙂
It's been some years since I started this blog. Supposedly, it was only to share my plight as a cancer patient and survivor but over the years it has somehow evolved into something personal about my life and my family.
So really glad to have met you all wonderful people out there. Someone commented once that he liked the title of this blog, Dreams and Escapes. Dream on, there are more things in life than we really think. Be happy, you only live once. Sometimes you also need an escape from the vicissitudes of life and this blog helps me cope. Welcome. Feel free to leave your comments, I do welcome them.
It’s been a while. I am reblogging this here from my main blog Dreams and Escapes. I hope you’ll find time to visit it to. My gosh, I got so excited when I saw it. There are several designs actually and all with Biblical passages. One of the vendors in our subdivision is selling them. […]
I can’t believe I haven’t touched and visited this blog like forever (an exaggeration of course) but I was so focused on updating my main blog so I forgot about this. Early this morning while I was watering the plants, I looked up at our jackfruit trees and saw this. I was hoping I could […]
I am reblogging this here for all its worth. Thank you for reading 🙂 You might wonder how are family has been since my brother was diagnosed with rectal cancer which has metastasised in his liver. Allow me first to thank you all for your prayers and words of comfort. It is helping us a […]
Gosh, I can’t believe it’s been almost a year now since I posted something here. I am always updated with my main blog though, a link of which is attached here. Sharing this photo I took yesterday, we locally call it Lato salad, a appetizer. I love seaweeds and I buy them once in a […]
Nonna’s joy. I think this is the second time I posted a picture of my grandson here. He is turning six this coming November. Time flies. Happy Grandparents’ Day to all proud grandparents like I am.
Gosh. I haven’t updated this site for so long concentrating instead on my main blog Dreams and Escapes. I hope I would be able to post more in the coming days.
This is just my 89th post after three years of blogging. But I have always been updated with my main blog. You can find the link here on the right corner of the blog. I’ve recently took shots of our garden blooms. Summer is here and more blooms could be seen. […]
