It’s 40, rather 39 days and a few more hours to go before Christmas. I have always said that it is my favorite time of the year no matter how simple the celebration is. We are just three at the house now so our celebration is narrowing down too. Nissa and Obet are creating their own Christmas tradition, now that they stay in their new home every weekend and holidays. Either they visit us or we visit them. Christmas dinner will always be a family celebration.
I finally put up some Christmas decor last night with Josef’s help. For some years now, I haven’t put up our 7 ft. Christmas tree. We have a Christmas topiary though, Santa Claus figurines, wall hangings, an arrangement of flowers in a cart and the most important of all, my porcelain Nativity set. I still have to figure where to hang some decor. If I could buy some Christmas lights, I’ll decorate our Arius tree outside.
