We now say goodbye to January. It’s like a whirlwind that has come and gone in a flash. All I could remember about this month are my visits to my doctors, maybe around ten times if I were to count. Always, leaving the house around 6:30 am and coming home around 1 pm. Like clockwork, I had regular lab tests. It was also my first time to undergo CT Scan. In two weeks, I’ll be back again. This almost a month respite is truly a blessing for me. I walk in our village park early in the morning although it is not a regular routine. Once Josef has left, sometimes I go back to sleep.
Looking forward to the month of February. 2023 is not a leap year. We only have 28 days this coming month and before we know it, it’ll be gone. I no longer expect to be operated on for my cataract in the next few months. As long as my FBS does not remain normal, then it is not a go in the meantime. Dreading to go back to the Hub and repeat all the requirements again.
I pray that the month of February would bring us more blessings and greater opportunities in life ❤🙏🙏🙏❤.
I do wish you well with the eyes

February does go quickly, but this January felt like a very long month to us. Probably because the weather was so cold for so long and we were both recovering from Covid.
Best wishes, Pete.

I hope both you and Julie are okay now Pete. It is still cold here early in the morning and usually the whole day is windy🫠

It sounds like you’ve been dealing with some health issues, Arlene. But you also seem focused on the positive and the good things in life. Hang on to that, and I wish you a February filled with peace, comfort, and always good news. ❤

May February bring you some peace. Lent begins this month, so it will be an encouragement to slow down and be more contemplative.

Yes, me too. Today, we celebrate the Feast Day of St. Blaise, I told Nissa to go to mass and thank for his intervention when she was operation on last Sept. 2019, she had thyroidectomy. It was stage one. I was at the OR waiting are when the doctor showed me the whole thing.

Yes, I used to go to mass every Candelaria to have candles blessed and the blessing of the throat. I attended an online mass instead😘

CT scan? Hmmm? Some concern there? Cataracts are not so serious as one used to think. I too have beginnings of. No hurry. get well first…
“Hang in there”. 😉

It’s a CT Scan on my ears Brian, my left ear got infected and I couldn’t hear. I have ear drops every day and used to visit my ENT once a week. Thanks🥰

Got it. Hopefully the treatment will work. Eventually. 🙏🏻

Actually the ENT suggested an operation but I’m tired of going under the knife, I had two major operations before. I’d like to think I am on my way to recovery. I have ear drops here prescribed by the ENT. I hope my blood sugar would be normal on my next lab tests. Thanks Brian🥰
