Yes, Virginia, that’s how many posts I’ve written for Dreams and Escapes over the years. I started last May 2009 and as I have said before, it has become a way of life for me. Call it another habit that I can’t break.
I just updated my blog at Gardens and Empty Spaces which is linked to this one. Gosh, 3,386 posts for one blog alone is I think the highlight of my blogging world. It started with sharing my plight as a cancer patient and a cancer survivor but it is presently a smorgasbord of my life’s journey.
Sometimes I feel sad that I could no longer see posts from people and friends I am following and those who are following me. Maybe they have grown tiredπ΄ of blogging. There was a time when we used to exchange comments and healthy ideas in this blogging world. Though my stats β¨ has ballooned to almost 700,000, I am lucky now if I get a hundred π― views in a day. Oops, I am not complaining, maybe they also got tired of my writings. Sometimes, I don’t get much enthusiasm in writing a post because most of the time now, I get engrossed in reading π. I don’t get to read most of the blog posts on my reader feed.
People in my blogging world disappeared all of a sudden. How I wish I could get in touch with them again. I miss youπ§ all.
Keep writing.
I also miss those disappearing bloggers, Arlene.
I just checked, and I have published 5,163 blog posts on my main blog since 2012! More than I thought. Total views of my blog are currently 657,000. I am a lucky blogger!
Best wishes, Pete.

Blogging has brought the world into my room. I enjoy writing and reading. But some days I cannot read posts and it is not possible to read posts from all those I follow. I am so glad I started blogging. And congratulations to you.

I suspect people get tired of spending time reading posts. Life intervenes and duties call.
I can still read with computer and phone, but it is too much of a struggle to read a book or magazine. I’ll bet some have dropped out because of eyesight.

Those may be true for some of us Anne. I understand that.

If it hadn’t been for meeting you I never would have gone to the library to learn the history of the Philippines. I wouldn’t know how Catholic a nation it is. I would never have learned to pray for someone around the world who shares my faith. You have been a true gift from the beginning of my writing.
