Yesterday, I was able to get recommendations from Philheath on the different lab tests that I have to undergo. I went to the hospital again this morning and I am done with chest x-ray, sugar testing, urine, ECG and blood works.
The lab results would be released in different dates then I have to go back to the Hub again for them to schedule me for cataract operation. That would probably take another two weeks. Such a long preparation. I started seeing my optha last June. Took two months to complete the requirements. They don’t always call, you have to call them. I am praying and hoping that everything is normal.
I have to see another doctor so he can read the results.
How are you all doing?
Wishing you well, Arlene.

I feel sorry for you having to have so many tests. I’m hoping your cataract operations will go well. Having mine removed was great, because I could see well without glasses.

Thank you Anne. When I had my left eye operated, there were no such tests except biometry.

The number of tests did seem to be overdoing it.

I hope all your tests are clear, Arlene. I have had conflicting diagnoses about cataracts. Three years ago, I was told I could have one eye operated on soon. Then in March this year, a different doctor told me that there is no need for either eye to have surgery at the moment. I am happy not to have the operation, as I wasn’t looking forward to it.
Best wishes, Pete.

Thank you Pete. My right eye could have operated back in 2018 but it was too expensive to both eyes done. Now my left eye needs laser.
