Let me see, it’s been almost a week since my last post. Nothing new, just sometimes so lazy to write. I didn’t even visit my reader feed. Sorry about that online friends. I hope you are all doing good.
The weather here is like summer now. It’s hot during the day and still a little cold at night. I have to water the garden twice. The soil gets dry easily. Anyway, there is always joy pointing the water hose on my face and feet in between watering the plants. Our three pups like frolicking in the garden when I am there. There is one more to go this week to another friend and officemate of Jovy. Saddie and Max are all we are keeping, the litters of Lassie. They were the last two to be born.

Another blessing. Got my share of cash dividend from Union Bank credited to my account last week. Good enough for three or four months of grocery, yeay! The wonder of having small investment in blue chips. It is nice to hold it long-term.
I am on my 31st read this year, a true story about child abuse. Third book I read about parents abusing their children, so hard to read actually but I am learning so many kinds of abuses.
Saddie is gorgeous Arlene ..

Lovely photo of your pup. It is still cold here, and there was a mild frost last night. Today will only be 6C, with a cold wind from the east.
Best wishes, Pete.

It is very windy here. We are in the midst of planting our spring garden. The puppies are so sweet! It is hard for me to read books on abuse. 😔

Time flies, right? I wonder how some people could hurt their kids that much. But always, good triumphs over evil. Thanks Maggie.

It is snowing here right now. I guess we always get a snowstorm in March, but it is annoying just the same. I love the puppy. Haven’t read a good book in a while but will let you know when I find one worth reading.

Great post Arlene. As for stories in abuse, it is hard to read but at the same time a realization we may even be victims of them growing up. Love and culture may have been used to abuse and oppress and their affects we don’t know till we reach adulthood.

That is so true. There are really abusive people in our midst. How are you? I haven’t visited WordPress in more than a week.

Surviving the craziness of COVID U.S. has self declared as endemic with more safety mandates. Might as well travel to Phil this year and risk it. If we get it, we get it, right. Then there’s the War. Stay safe.

NCR has declared alert level one. They are no longer reporting those found positive of Covid daily. Besides the war, there is the presidential election here. Good luck in going back home.

Thanks Arlene. I think I need more than good luck evading the virus to and fro. Nowhere is really safe, might as well do what the heart always wanted. Every year is a challenge to all, “will i make it or not,” or “will they make it or not?” So much uncertainty that I believe living in the present and soon is more realistic. 5-10 year plan seems foolish nowadays when there are more chances of getting sick, dying or suffering from Wars.

You are right. Do you think Covid is here to stay? Just like flu and pneumonia. I heard they are thinking of another booster. Ayaw ko na. Di natin alam ang longer effect ng bakuna.

COVID will replace Flu in terms of numbers every Surge season, though I think flu will make a huge come back this fall and winter when no more mask is the majority. I always thought COVID is genetically altered with sole purpose to survive Science and to what it does best, being terror through sickness and death. Just my theory.

Maybe after five years we will know the actual effects of the vaccine. It is officially summer now, we still wearface mask though.
