He said, “ma’am antayin niyo na lang sila dito”. I told him our car is parked there and we’re going to Mercury Drug to buy medicine.

“Samahan ko na lang po kayo”. So he accompanied me to cross the street going to Jollibee.

I had a scare the past few days when I got sick. For four street days, I had fever not lower than 39C. After taking paracetamol round the clock every four hours, it did not change. Since Saturday and Sunday are the only free time for Josef and Jovy, we planned of visiting the hospital supposedly today. Last night though when they came home, Josef told me to prepare and we were going to the hospital. That was around 9:30 pm. It was a ten to fifteen minute drive from our place. Luckily when we reached Mission Hospital, they had no patient at the emergency room. First thing I did was to take my temperature at the digital thermometer displayed at the corner together with a bottle of alcohol. What do you know, my body temperature was normal.

Since I was having difficulty passing my urine, I asked the doctor if I could undergo urinalysis too. So I had my CBC, chest X-ray and they asked If I am willing to undergo swab test for Covid, I said yes. My blood count is okay but I have UTI. It would take four days before the release of the result of the Covid swab. They gave me prescriptions of antibiotics and something for cough. Actually to be safe, I took my temperature three times and it was normal.

When I left the emergency room, the guard told me to just wait for Josef and Jovy. They went to Jollibee across the street to buy sandwiches. It was almost 12am. So the guard accompanied me to cross the street . Such show of kindness. I was touched. I didn’t know that Josef planned all along to give him a midnight snack while they were waiting for me. He went back to the guard to give him his snack.

While we were on our way, I mentioned casually that maybe my digital thermometer might be defective. Josef suggested that I buy a new one. True enough, when we reached the house, I had normal body temperature.

That was certaily a scare, giving me sleepless nights and worried look. I had to take Melatonin so I could sleep.

PS

I haven’ forgotten your birthday PETE. Belated Happy Birthday🌻🌿πŸ₯‚πŸŽ‚

That Was A Scare

There was another rally yesterday for VP LENI and Sen. KIKO which they called PASIGLABAN. It was held at the financial district of Pasig City. They have almost covered several towns and cities over the archipelago from North to South. We still have 49 days to go before May 9.

Bacolod garnered 86,000 attendees last week, people of all ages. Some preferred to walk because bus services were cancelled by those partial to Marcos. Will call him dayunior in my next paragraphs. Always at the start of her speech, VP LENI would read all these placards that her eyes can reach. I can’t forget this, there was this guy holding a placard saying that he miss the feel of a hug from a mother. Without hesitation, VP LENI called him up the stage and hugged him. In Cavite City, she was almost late going to the venue because the governor there closed the roads so there was traffic. She and her staff asked some motorcycle drivers if they could hitch a ride. In Zamboanga, she came by a banca. You would really appreciate that she is game to everything as long as she can reach the people waiting for her.

I culled some photos of the event yesterday from my friends’ posts who were there before 12pm even if the program was set at 4:30pm. They braved the rain and the heat.

So far Pasig has the most number of rallyists at 137,000.

It is not just a campaign now, it has become a movement.
Look at their faces. The youth is awake.
The crowd is long. Some people booked hotel rooms nearby so they could attend the rally.
THE BEST FOR THE JOB IS A WOMAN…VP LENI!

I saw several pictures of dayunior’s rallies, they could not even garner a 10th of LENI’s in one place. Funny how they do not allow drone shots because you can clearly see the pathetic number of crowd. Some even photoshopped hundreds of sacks of onion (sibuyas) making it appear that they are human heads attending the rallies. THEY LIVE IN LIES. They deny themselves of a good governance because of loyalty to one man.

There is this Pulse Asia survey (we call it the FALSE ASIA) they conducted late December and it showed a more than 50% for dayunior and 16% of Leni out of, you guess it, 2,400 people surveyed. They released it after Leni’s successful rallies. Mind-conditioning if I may say. And to think they give those meager attendees free food and 500 per head. Why would you sell your soul by a pittance? Sad isn’t itπŸ˜’πŸ˜πŸ€”

VP LENI AND SEN. KIKO’s rallies are funded by the people. Their shouts of HINDI KAMI BAYARAN reverberate throughout the land.

WAY TO GO VP LENI AND SEN. KIKO. Ipapanalo natin eto.

I almost forgot to mention, those music artists groups, actors and actresses gave their time for free for VP Leni.

Hello friends, I’m back after more than a week.

To tell you the truth, I really miss blogging but can’t think of a good content I could share with you. I am more focused on the online campaign for presidential aspirants. The Leni/Kiko tandem are doing well in all provinces that they visit -10,000, 20,000, 40,000, 45,000 and an astounding 86,000 in one venue two nights ago. Truly amazing. People seems to be so inspired. Some local officials in some provinces even tried to block their way but resourceful and enthusiastic “kakampinks” shared a ride, people walked to the venues. Even VP LENI hitched on a motorcycle to reach one of the venues because the road was blocked by a seating politician who belongs to the opposite political party. They are even red-tagging her and making videos which are all lies to destroy her.

We don’t want another Marcos, someone who is a college dropout and hadn’t done anything even to his constituents when he was governor there years ago.

They are using their ill-gotten wealth to pay people to join their sorties. Really, what a shame!

The pink revolution has become a movement and if our Commission on Election would not cheat, then it is a sure win for VP LENI. What is frightening is that all commissioners were appointed by Duterte and even the supplier of election materials is one of his Chinese friends. The Filipinos should be vigilant come May 9. We don’t want another glitch like what happened last 2019.

Nate and I had a voice chat early this morning. Nice to hear his voice again even if it was just a simple hi and hello. He is managing quite well with his online class even without the supervision of Nissa and Obet who are back to the office. He is in grade 111 now. Another quarter and the school year ends. Sharing with you his grades for the last three quarters.

Blogged this before at Our Precious Bundle of Joy. Truly happy to see this.

I was reading some notes and tributes by a friend whose friend died a week ago. Gosh, truly touching, I shed a tear. Life is unpredictable but no matter what, we should always be positive and not lose that faith.

Will you again include Alden in your prayers? Thanks a millionπŸ™‚πŸ’πŸ€πŸŽ‰πŸŽˆπŸŽŠ

Let me see, it’s been almost a week since my last post. Nothing new, just sometimes so lazy to write. I didn’t even visit my reader feed. Sorry about that online friends. I hope you are all doing good.

The weather here is like summer now. It’s hot during the day and still a little cold at night. I have to water the garden twice. The soil gets dry easily. Anyway, there is always joy pointing the water hose on my face and feet in between watering the plants. Our three pups like frolicking in the garden when I am there. There is one more to go this week to another friend and officemate of Jovy. Saddie and Max are all we are keeping, the litters of Lassie. They were the last two to be born.

This is Saddie, a female. Look at her nose, eyes and ears, they are light brown. Could not take a shot of Max, he keeps running.

Another blessing. Got my share of cash dividend from Union Bank credited to my account last week. Good enough for three or four months of grocery, yeay! The wonder of having small investment in blue chips. It is nice to hold it long-term.

I am on my 31st read this year, a true story about child abuse. Third book I read about parents abusing their children, so hard to read actually but I am learning so many kinds of abuses.

Uneventful February. Well, except for my booster shot last February 9 and going out last week to deposit a check to the bank, I didn’t go out much. If you can call twice visit to the grocery store at the gate of the subdivision a venture outside, that’s it. All other needs were delivered online.

Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday. For us Catholics, it is the beginning of Lent and ends on Holy Thursday. It is one of the most importang events in the liturgical calendar, the imposition of ashes. Turn away from sin and believe in the Gospel. I am planning to attend the 6am mass at the Shrine of Our Lady Of Light. The family still observes abstaining from meat on all Fridays of Lent. Senior citizens like mom and I are already exempted though. Still, it is nice to keep the tradition.

I hope March would be a good month for us all.
