Yes, today was not just a sea of pink, it was an ocean of pink.
This pink motorcade caravan has truly become a movement. Imagine, all over the country. It delivered a strong message to the powers-that-be. It is just like the Edsa people power back in 1986. This time, bikes, motor cycles, tricycles, jeepneys and cars are out on the streets of several places – towns and provinces all over. Even Boracay had their own pink morning.
I hope we could sustain this until the coming election in May. I’ve wished to upload photos but I am watching my free allowed spaces and photos eat a lot. I think next caravan is planned come November. The organizers said at least 10,000 vehicles in 50 towns and provinces participated.
I’ve finally found someone that I could order food from this Wednesday, a niece of one of my friends who has a restaurant here in our town. Delivery fee is minima. Lovely🍭🎂🍻
A good news day

That sea of pink — what a wonder! I pray it continues.
Could you make your photo files smaller before adding them to WordPress? I have my camera set to save them at a lower resolution. Pictures taken with a cell phone are always huge. I open them in Windows 10 with Photos and click on the three dots at the upper right of the screen. I click on Resize and choose a smaller size. Maybe you don’t use Windows, but there are other apps to resize them.

I have resized these before posting Anne. I am only using a tab. Thanks.

You are smart. I can’t imagine using a tab for blogging. Both desktop and laptop are my tools.

It gets easier the longer it is used Anne except for the placement of the photos. I want them at the center.

Is there no way to center a photo in the editor on a tab? With a computer, I do it as soon as I import the photo.

I can’t find it, there is only the reduction of photos.

Maybe the editor is different on a tab. I should try it on my phone. I think I could write a post with it, but I’ve never tried. It’s time for me to get up and get ready to go to church. We are blessed that we are able to worship together here. Hope you’ve had a good Sunday.

Try it. It was a quiet Sunday. I still attend mass online.

I shouldn’t complain about masks in church, since you have to go online. There were some long lines in one of the hymns today, and I would take very deep breaths to sing them without a break. The mask would try to pop into my mouth. Disconcerting!
Singing hymns is important to me. I was a church organist for 25 years and know how I want to sound. I try to take in the words, which in the Lutheran church are often theological in nature. Besides thinking of content, I sing different parts on different verses, always aim to hit the notes precisely, and use the diction I stressed for so many years. Wearing a mask does not make any of that easier.

It is really hard wearing a mask. Only about 30% capacity are allowed inside the church. Although I could attend masses online every day, I miss receiving communions. It has been like this since the lockdown last year….until now.
I envy you that you could still participate in church normally. That’s lovely indeed Anne.
Keep safe always. Monday blessings to you and your family.
