Nissa, Nate and I had an early video chat this morning. It is so nice to see them again.
Nate was cuddling a dog, it was quite big. I was surprised that he is no longer afraid of dogs. He used to be with Oreo, maybe because Oreo was so playful when he was a puppy. So that big dog is a three-month old pure breed Labrador which they adopted just yesterday from Obet’s sister. How nice to see them all together.
Finally, I was able to pet Nika, our other dog from the pound. I am afraid of the other one because he is not so friendly. Although he visits the garage now and then, he turns back to the garden when he sees me. He destroyed three pots of my Amazon lily.
I ordered a pack of rice hull the other day. It was only P30 pesos but the plant vendor had no change. I was forced to buy another pot. This plant is called Jennifer (Jenny Creeper). First to have one like this. I’d like to buy more once they have re-stocked their supplies. It has tiny pink flowers that resemble a daisy.
I have so many plants to repot but I don’t want them to be exposed to too much water, maybe I’ll do it after the rainy season.

I’m lucky at the moment Arlene , Frankie doesn’t seem interested in my garden plants, although I have not started my vegetable patch yet … 😀🐶

Oh, that’s good. The adopted one seems afraid to interact with Noki, our old dog and the Jack Russel who is lording it over the garage so the new one stays in the garden. I transferred some of my pots and Jovy placed an old umbrella where he stays so he has a shelter when it rains.

Maybe he’ll adjust over time … he must have had a bit of rough time before ..

It looks like the unfriendly dog is going to need a lot of reassurance. It would be a shame to have adopted a dog that you cannot interact with.

I’m glad you had a chance to talk with Nissa and Nate.
I have a creeping Jenny plant, but it is entirely different from yours. It has tiny leaves and no blooms at all.

I just started this course sa Zoom. Urban Sketching. I did some of the travel sketches before pero yong may mga dates, those are practicing for the class.
