It is an uneventful week except waiting for my second dose of Pfizer vaccine which was done this morning. The wait was even longer than the first dose but it was very organized. You go through another interview (consent by the patient), taking of blood pressure and pulse ( they’ll write on you papers if you could be vaccinated) then the vaccination area. You have to wait for another 20 to 30 minutes for them to take your blood pressure reading before you could leave. The nurse confirmed that it was Pfizer by showing the vial. Nice π
Taking photos at the vaccination area is not allowed but I took a shot of the auditorium. Good thing even if it was a three-hour wait, the place is so convenient because it is so wide. There were ushers who took charge of the movement of the people.
The other day, March 13, I celebrated my 12th year in remission. Thank God for second chances at life.
Yeah Arlene… I get my second shot tomorrow.. πππ€

That’s great that you’ve gotten the second shot. I hope this means that the vaccine is available for many in your country.
Twelve years! I rejoice with you. It’s seven for me now.

Thank you Anne. There are no available vaccines yet in most provinces. Sad isn’t it after the billions incurred by this govt. supposedly for Covid.

Congratulations! We will not beat this virus until the majority of people around the world are vaccinated. I’ve been vaccinated since Feb, a nurse, I have seen the worst of this horrible virus.

Congratulations πππ. The vaccine makes a huge life saving difference. Iβm planning to get a self order booster. My antibodies likely going down by now and we are seeing covid possible patients in person everyday. Itβs like a lottery now in the U.S. for covid. The infected mingles with the uninfected. Crazy here. Stay safe.

They say that the new variant Delta is worse. We have it now in the country, really sad because our people have already suffered much and yet those in charge of implementing rules for this Covid are a useless lot. They are not even doctors and scientists. Despite the billions borrowed by this govt. supposedly for Covid, there are not enough vaccines. Take care and keep safe.
