Who has gotten the two doses of the Covid vaccine? Will you please share your experiences? Which vaccine did you get?
Thanks a million friends. Just want to know which has the least side effect.

It's been some years since I started this blog. Supposedly, it was only to share my plight as a cancer patient and survivor but over the years it has somehow evolved into something personal about my life and my family. So really glad to have met you all wonderful people out there. Someone commented once that he liked the title of this blog, Dreams and Escapes. Dream on, there are more things in life than we really think. Be happy, you only live once. Sometimes you also need an escape from the vicissitudes of life and this blog helps me cope. Welcome. Feel free to leave your comments, I do welcome them.
Gosh, why do I find it so hard to acces this site. Still a trial and error thing. It always points me to my main blog.
I am back. I hope I could update this site again without the difficulty of logging in.
It’s been a while. I am reblogging this here from my main blog Dreams and Escapes. I hope you’ll find time to visit it to. My gosh, I got so excited when I saw it.Β There are several designs actually and all with Biblical passages. One of the vendors in ourΒ subdivision is selling them. […]
I can’t believe I haven’t touched and visited this blog like forever (an exaggeration of course) but I was so focused on updating my main blog so I forgot about this. Early this morning while I was watering the plants, I looked up at our jackfruit trees and saw this. I was hoping I could […]
I am reblogging this here for all its worth.Β Thank you for reading π You might wonder how are family has been since my brother was diagnosed with rectal cancer which has metastasised in his liver. Allow me first to thank you all forΒ your prayers and words of comfort. It is helping us a […]
Gosh, I can’t believe it’s been almost a year now since I posted something here. I am always updated with my main blog though, a link of which is attached here. Sharing this photo I took yesterday, we locally call it Lato salad, a appetizer. I love seaweeds and I buy them once in a […]
Nonna’s joy. I think this is the secondΒ time I posted a picture of my grandson here. He is turning six this coming November. Time flies.Β Happy Grandparents’ Day to all proud grandparents like I am.
Gosh. I haven’t updated this site for so long concentrating instead on my main blog Dreams and Escapes.Β I hope I would be able to post more in the coming days.
This is just my 89th post after three years of blogging. But I have always been updated with my main blog. You can find the link here on the right corner of the blog. I’ve recently took shots of our garden blooms. Summer is here and more bloomsΒ could be seen. […]
We have both had only our first dose. Julie had the Pfizer in December, and I had the Astra-Zeneca in February. She should get her second dose soon, but mine will not be for 9-10 weeks. Neither of us had any side effects at all.
Best wishes, Pete.

We had the Pfizer vaccine first dose last Monday and get the second one in two weeks. Charlie had no reaction. I had a mildly sore arm and a mild headache for one day only.

Good to know the Pfizer vaccine doesn’t have to much effect on you.

Hi Arlene, my brother had the 1st dose of the Moderna vaccine several weeks ago with no ill effects. He gets his second dose on Wednesday. A good friend is a nurse practitioner with multiple certifications – she warned us yesterday to expect side effects from 2nd doses of both vaccines (it has knocked out medical personnel for several days.) Some folks have no problems, but itβs best to schedule near a weekend! β¨π·β¨

Side effects would probably show in the long run. Even previously approved vaccines took years of study.
Thanks Virginia for sharing thisπππ

I’ve had both doses of the Moderna vaccine. After the first dose I had no side effects. However, after the second dose I felt terrible for two days, with a low-grade fever, headache, severe chills and body aches. Then two more days of feeling very fatigued after that. Most of the people I know who have had both doses only feel bad for a day or two, but my side effects lasted 4 days. Even so, It’s better than getting Covid!

Hi Deb. Glad to know of the symptoms, maybe it has a different effect on each of us. It may depend on how strong our immune system is. Keep well.

It does seem to affect everyone differently. My 92-year-old father had the Pfizer vaccine, with no side effects at all from either dose. My younger sister also had the Pfizer and only had a headache the following day after her second dose. I have a cousin who is a doctor, and he was so sick he had to stay in bed for two days after his first dose.

Hopefully, we’ll have vaccines other than sinovac which was made in china. People here don’t like it. Nice to know they don’t have much side effects especially to your 92-year old dad.

I had the Moderna vaccine. After the first shot, I had a chill a few hours after it and a sore arm for days. The second shot was better. I used a different arm, and the area was red and warm to the touch, but not particularly sore. There were no other side effects.
John and I had our shots at the same time. He felt a little “funny” shopping in the grocery store right after getting the first shot. The odd sensation left within 10 to 15 minutes. After the second shot, he felt worn out and went to bed a couple of hours early. That was the extent of his reaction. We are 78 and 79 years old.
We were advised to take it easy the day after the shots, and I thought that good advice. It was good to have no pressure for a day.
Good luck with your vaccination.

It’s good to know there’s not much side effects. I haven’t had mine yet. They had just started giving out the vaccine here in Melbourne and I am not in the top priority.

Pretty good to know Tanya. I read somewhere that those who have maintenance for high blood pressure and sugar are not advised to have the vaccine. I am on maintenance.
