“For some, life lasts a short while but the memories it holds last forever.
Every year during Dad’s birthday and anniversary, I would find myself blogging about him. If he were alive today, he would have been 99 years old.
Yes, the memories linger like they happened only yesterday. I miss the stories, the life lessons you taught us the values you shared but most of all ….I MISS YOU….still.
Yes… memories last forever.. enjoy all those fond and precious ones… 💕

My mum would have been 97 this year. I still miss her everyday too.
Best wishes, Pete.

I missed those days when we would sit at the garage’s ledge and he would recall those stories when he was young.

Have you ever written his stories down for Nate?

Not yet Elizabeth. Maybe, one day.

Now is the perfect time! Maybe your mom would even have a little clarity about the very old days. I know that sometimes can happen, though I don’t know if it is true for your mother.

Mom is hard of hearing and can’t even clearly now. One time, I had a video chat with my brother from Tulsa and showed the screen to her while Noel was waving, she asked who he was.

I am so sorry. I so treasure how you take care of her despite the challenges.

My daughter’s friend’s mom has Alzheimers, so I think I have a little idea of how it is for you.
