Last night a relative from UK called me up and told me about what they went through first week of December when four of them, she, her husband and two kids were found positive with Covid-19. She got the worse case, she had fever for more than a week, hardness of breathing, tastebud was nil, she kept coughing. She thought she would die. She was crying while narrating her experience with Covid.
“God is merciful”, she said. She held on and spent her time praying while she was isolated. It was the hardest challenge she had to face.
Like cancer, Covid is crazy. You’ll never know if you will live or die. When you are given a second chance at life, everything is a blessing.

Thank you so much Pete. She said they are not yet allowed to have that vaccine until after six months.

Such a frightening experience. We all need to be judicious and stay home as much as possible.

Thanks Wilma, yes, our bodies deal with the virus differently. Some are asymptomatic. Keep safe too.

It looks like all of us are going to know someone who either got the virus or died from it. So much loss. Peace to your cousin’s family as they recover.

That is true Elizabeth. I have a high school classmate, a nurse there in the US. She has been tested negative thrice of Covid. When she came back from a short vacation in another state, she tested positive.

The mother of one of my daughter’s clients was hospitalized in Los Angeles. She was well enough to go home but couldn’t because there was no oxygen to have at home. That is how dreadful things are in California.

I can’t believe how poorly our governments are doing compared to other countries.

Really pathetic. Duterte is waiting for local government leaders to do the procurements of the vaccine but he is borrowing by the billions supposedly for Covid. Shameful😕

The people I’ve known who have gotten it got kind of the cold version. Not the flu version of symptoms. Hopefully we all can get through this and get back to normal.
