Eating some left-over macaroni salad, a small bowl of reheated pancit bihon, two slices of Embutido and a hot mug of red berries tea infusion….heaven 🙂
Christmas day was a quiet celebration, a day of thanksgiving, a day of praying harder that we get to go back to pre-Covid days, not being afraid to go out, not being wary of kissing the hands of our elders, not too cautious about kissing and hugging our kids.
If there is one thing that this pandemic taught us, we learned to be closer to our family and to God.
It was a very different Christmas this year indeed. Glad to hear you had a preaceful and reflective day, Arlene.
Best wishes, Pete.

We had dinner in a restaurant, and a peaceful evening after. It was nice and quiet, Arlene. 🙂

That’s nice, we observed the age-old tradition of Noche Buena, a good meal around 12 am on Christmas morning but light meals on Christmas day itself.

I don’t think I will ever decline a hug ever again. I sure underestimate their importance when I took them for granted1
