Touch –
an absolutely necessary thing
but in this pandemic,
we are reduced to hand signals
and smiles that we could not even see.
No hugs.
No kisses.
No embraces.
Just shouts and whispers
within the mask.
Enforced time in the four corners
of our homes.
Will we ever be brave enough
to hug, to kiss and embrace?
Soon… When the madness is over. ๐บ ๐ป ๐ค
