I am still randomly copying some excerpts from my earlier posts for my journal and which I’m gonna share later at Interaktib. Then I found this, it’s something I wrote from six years ago. Reposting it.
WHEN WORDS ARE NOT ENOUGH
Sometimes,
I hide myself behind the flow of words
If you are clever enough
You’ll catch me peeking
from a curtained window
admiring the view
but never brave enough
to open the door.
Sometimes,
life seems so difficult
and one’s smile catches the tears
one look that lingers
that one goodbye
erases hundreds of hello.
How could you not see
that life is sometimes
hard to journey through?
Awesome piece❤❤!

Hey Arlene,
As you know well, life is challenging. When you live with chronic ailments things like ‘life’ and now a pandemic make everything that much more arduous. Regardless, situations can always be worse so i stay focused on appreciating and living within the moment, for an entire day is far too daunting to contemplate. I pray you and yours are well!

Thank you so much. We are doing fine, The kids are working from home. Life here is a little difficult for most people because of the pandemic. Millions of people are jobless. Take care Tina. God bless you always.

Sadly, the situation is dire here too. Most of our problem is that we have idiots for leaders and large part of the population who are morons. millions unemployed millions infected and our people are in civil unrest while the big debate is whether wearing a mask is curbing civil liberties. Yes, the past three and a half years has brought great shame to the US and now it is being punctuated by the throws of a pandemic. It truly is madness on a colossal scale. I do not know how people endure without the belief God is the stalwart force in a man made tempest.

I agree with you. Here in our country, these politicians are more concerned about what they can put in their pockets than attending to the welfare of the people. They keep on borrowing in the guise of helping those with the virus but there is no accountability and the spread is rising every day. I wonder where we are going.
