Saw this early this morning while I was watering our Arius tree. I thought at first it was deformed leaves eaten by some insects. Look at that monochromatic shade of its wings. I wonder if this is a butterfly. It didn’t move while I was taking some shots. If this is a butterfly, I guess it would have flown when I touched it but it didn’t.
Could you help me identify it? This is bigger than a moth.
Wow, that is great! I have no idea what it is and I have never seen one like it. Can I ask what part of the world you live in?

Oh, that is on my place to visit. My boyfriend, David, was stationed there when he was in the Navy in the early 80’s, I think it was. What a beautiful place. Thank you for sharing.

You put your cursor on the picture and right-click. The choose ‘Search Google For Image’. I don’t think you can do that on a Tablet or Phone though. You will need a Laptop or PC to use that facility I think, Arlene.

If I had stumbled upon it and it moved I would have screamed! Great find, Arlene.
