Jovy and Josef are on a two-day leave until tomorrow so they had time to bake orders which are long overdue. As we have only one ref, they have to limit their orders. As usual they were placed in tin cans, three layered chocolate cake but Jovy designed one for her officemate.

This has its own box and double the price over the cake in tins.ย  I am not much into sweets but occasionally, I bake those healthy cookies using rolled oats.

Yesterday, I dropped by the supermarket before going home to buy sweet tamarind from Thailand. It comes in boxes at P165.00 pesos each still with its shell. I bought two, finished one box in one sitting. It’s so good and not too sour.

The seed extract may also help lower blood sugar, while the pulp extract may help you lose body weight and reverse fatty liver disease”.ย  There you go another healthy food find. We have a tamarind tree in the province but not as sweet as the one they grow on Thailand.
