She remembers –
The feel of the wind on her face
The scent of the sea
Footsteps in the sand
Sea glass tempered and smoothed
by time
Sea shells along the shore
The lap of water at her feet.
She remembers the happy times,
The smiles,
The laughter.
And sometimes the tears.
Beautiful.

The beach is definitely the place to be, ‘reminiscing’… exquisite Arlene…..

I love the peace and quiet that a beach brings Ivor although I seldom visit one now. Thanks 🙂

I am so glad that we can remember these times. Yes a little sadness, but the joy is coming back to me more and more lately.

I agree with you. Those were the days when simple things like going on a beach made your day.

I’m on that shore, reminiscing too, through your lovely words…even though my shore is probably a different one, the feelings are so familiar. ☺️
