The past two days I really felt so lazy to blog so I updated our Catholic page at Facebook for the whole month of March.
When laziness creeps in, one is not so inclined to do anything except read, visit a few blog posts, look at all those sometimes so disgusting memes posted by Duterte trolls on legit sites at Facebook. I guess, until now, they feel happy sharing those fake and false news, editing legit photos and changing the concept they were written. Although hundreds of fake sites were already taken down by Facebook, they still manage to enable their sites and share those lies. Sometimes I can’t help but report and block even an individual who incites hate in his/her comments. Right now, it is Sara Duterte (daughter of the president) who doesn’t mince words and utter those ugly lies against the opposition. She is not running in any position and yet, she is so vocal defending those senatorial candidates who belong to her party. They are afraid to accept those debate challenges by the opposition specifically the Otso Diretso team. I’d like to think, they don’t really have a good platform to present to the Filipino people. Sara is the one who said that honesty is not a requirement for a person to run in a government position. If this is the kind of truth that they believe in, I wonder where we would be if they win. Honesty is a basic requirement in any government. The Filipinos deserve as much.
And speaking of being lazy, I was still so lazy to cook lunch so the three of us, Josef, Jovy and I went to SM East Ortigas mall to have lunch at Max’s. We took Oreo with us although of course he is not allowed inside the restaurant so we stayed at the corridor of Max’s. We had adobo fried rice in a pot, pancit canton and fried chicken and tried their various dessert set in a platter.
We had him groomed yesterday. He is now sporting a summer look. My gosh, it really looks like it is summer here now, it’s a hot, hot weather.
