Growing Older

I found this lovely meme on my news feed at Facebook. It was shared by a friend.  We think of the years, the happy days gone by and what the future still holds for us. those times that we smiled, laughed and cried.

Come to think of it,  those in this list are all so true.

I haven’t reached that point yet where I talk  to myself but I talk to our three cats and our pet dog.  They know that “labas na” means they have to go out of the dining room and stay in the dirty kitchen or at the garage.

Sometimes yes, I am quick to anger, let’s just say, patience has gone a bit.  Number six is so true, right? Nowadays, one craves for those shuteye or a few minutes of noon rest.  When I have nothing to do, I just read or listen to music.

Wrinkle- free and three sizes smaller…haha! So one has gone three sizes bigger and the more older you get, you balloon into something you didn’t  ever expect.

Walking into a room and forgetting why you are there. You see something instead and do it. A few minutes later, you’ll remember why you were there but you’ve done something else.

Gosh, getting  older is a rich tapestry of events and happenings in your life.  Along with it comes wisdom that only grows with age.   Yes I know, life is not measured by the number of years you put into your age, it is more complicated than that. Life is  how we see and act, how we make our journey something  worthwhile and inspiring.

Someday, you’ll look back and just smile  🙂 🙂 🙂
