It’s been a busy week!
I haven’t posted for quite a while but I had time to finish gardening, trimming the carabao grass, shaping our Eugenia and gold dust plants and replanting some white grass which were uprooted by our three playful kitties.
My back and arms ached a little so I have to take a rest almost the whole day just catching up on reading and visiting some new blog posts here. I actually read two e-books in three days. Not my normal kind of authors and books but I enjoyed reading both. Sometimes when you haven’t read love stories for so long, it’s lovely to discover that they are as engrossing and as interesting as those memoirs and historical fictions that you normally read. Good life and happy endings.
According to xmasclock.com, it’s 38 days, 5 hours and 7 minutes before Christmas. Hooray! I am really looking forward to the happy days ahead.
I can always be sure that you will remind me how long it is to Christmas! 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.

Haha! Yes, one more month to go. That’s how I love the season. It will be Advent season in two weeks.

I finished up my gardening, too, and had to dig up mu calla lilies, too…we don’t yet have snow in the forecast, but I’m hopeful, ever hopeful! I may actually put my Christmas tree up next week, since some of our Thanksgiving guests won’t be visiting then…uncertain, but you sure get me in the spirit!
I read more books this time of year, too…no gardening! 🙂

It’s so nice to know how you re doing Kitty. I am sure you are excited about Thanksgiving and Christmas too. We don’t have Thanksgiving Day here. Personally I think we should all be grateful for everyday blessings. Have a nice weekend Kitty.

One of the reasons we’re saving up money for next year is that we want to replace the carabao grass in our lawn to bermuda grass. Carabao grass grows so fast that we have to trim it frequently.

I do agree, I trim it every month. Isn’t Bermuda grass hard to maintain?

I’m not sure as well. But based on what I saw, I think you just water the field and trim it occasionally?

We used to have it but some portions eventually died on us and it was not nice to see those empty patches 😦

I like your countdown. If I were watching it, Christmas would still come sooner than I think.

A week from now we’ll be in the middle of our Thanksgiving celebration. Daughter Lise arrived today! We’ll think about Christmas after she goes back to Denmark.

I just joined a site called BookBrowse. I am excited because I get to review an advance copy of a pretty funny book. I would love to see you review some books since you are a very perceptive reader.

I set aside reviewing books for a while but I’ll get to that, I hope. Is BookBrowse a free site?

It cost me $35 for the year. That seemed fair for the amount of information it provides.

$35 would be a bit pricey for me. What is important though is you are enjoying it.
