Rainy Thursday morning.
And here I thought the rainy season had come and gone but it’s not to be. We are under yellow rainfall warning and it’s been raining since last night. It is already 8:15 am but it is still too dark outside.
These thunderstorms.
Yes, it is cold and the rains are accompanied by thunderstorms. Thunder and lightning, you are cruel. Our dog Noki has hidden under our dining table since early this morning. He is afraid of thunderstorms. Our car alarm acted up crazy too. A burglar in the vicinity? Nope, it’s because of the thunder.
It is still raining outside, that kind that would last longer than those heavy downpours. It’s a wet, wet Thursday. Gosh I wanted to go back to bed and sleep an hour or two more but I am not used to waking up late or napping so early in the morning. I’ll probably read instead.
I watched the Senate hearing yesterday afternoon. Some of their guests bloggers are aligned with Duterte and are perpetrators of fake news. Mocha is known in the blogging world (she claims she is a blogger and has a large following on Facebook) but I wonder if she is the one writing her own blogs. She’s been appointed as assistant secretary in Communications in Malacanang but it seems that she can’t separate her being a blogger of mostly fake news to being in the government. I laughed out loud when she said that she was invoking her rights against “self discrimination” instead of “self-incrimination”. Does she even know what self-incrimination means? Sen. Bam Aquino retorted that she was not being accused of anything so there is really no need to say that. Haha 🙂 🙂 Even Sen. Nancy Binay told her that she must choose – to do her job responsibilities or her opinions as a blogger. The nerve of the girl. She is full of herself. She was bashed by the netizens on Facebook and became a laughing-stock. She even has the nerve to take photos with Sen. Trillanes. The latter filed a case against her last week. He will pursue the criminal and administrative cases against her despite the friendly gestures. There you are folks, our government has become….I don’t know what!
Telling a lie has become the norm for them. You tell a lie once and it would be hard to believe you the second or third time around. Once you tell a lie all your truths become questionable. I read this quote earlier and it is true.
Happy Thursday everyone!
Dito rin po sa Baguio, every afternoon umuulan. Sarap tuloy matulog lang hahaha.
and Mocha and Nieto were really annoying during yesterday’s senate hearing! shame shame shame talaga.

Sinabi mo. Ang yabang nung si Nieto ano? Grabe, are these the people Malacanang chose to help them? They are helping themselves not the people.

So full of themselves po talaga. Wala ng takot na makikita from them kasi they’re very confident na well protected sila. Haaaaay, nakakalungkot at nakakafrustrate na we are being fooled right before our very eyes.

Sinabi mo, they have protectors, that is why. They are concentrating on destroying whoever comes across as their critic. Lahat sa kanila basta may opinion against what they are doing are “kalaban”.

What’s more alarming eh they have followers are as blind and irrational as these fake news purveyors. makes me cringe everytime na nakakabasa ako ng mga comments nila.

Yes, the followers are as blind as bats. May nabasa nga ako, those who use free data on FB won’t bother to know the truth kasi di nila makikita, puro lang kung ano pini-feed sa kanila .Did you ever wonder that even those who used to be sane enough and intelligent enough to know what’s happening are now on the side of untruth too?

Surprisingly, i ave friends nga na professionals and highly intellectual sa pagkakakilala ko BUT now, they’re all blinded by these fakery as well. such a disappointment po talaga.

Oh, my goodness! What has become of our governments? What confederacies of dunces!
And, although it’s only Wednesday night here, I wish my Thursday came with rain! We’ve had one storm (last night) since the second week of August! The lawn has gone dormant, and the flowers are struggling. But there may be more rain coming this weekend, so I’ll stay hopeful.
Blessings on your weekend, Arlene,…and on both our governments. Yikes.

I am asking the same questions Kitty! They have elected those who are not fit to rule…haha!
Our PAGASA (Weather Bureau) says we’ll have two more typhoons this month.

I hope your rain subsides soon. When the American President spends so much time wittering on Twitter, your Mocha seems to be a follower of his.

It rained all night here too, after a chilly day. But the sun is out this morning, so new hope for a brighter day.
Best wishes, Pete.
