What would you do when you reach your 2,000th post? Will you finally stop blogging or continue to write?

Yesterday, WordPress registered my 2,000th post on this blog alone. Overall though,  if I were to summarize all my posts into one big blog, it would be more. I have four more active ones but I don’t always get to update them. I know, this is another milestone in blogging, at least for me.  I haven’t dreamed that I will reach this far,  eight years staying at WordPress.  Don’t get me wrong though, I enjoy blogging. As I have said before it has become a way of life for me. Two weeks or a month would be that long if I don’t post anything here, a habit-forming pursuit on simple writing, sharing one’s thoughts with the world. Sometimes, there are those questions of “what if”, “how”, “where will I start”? But when you have something to share, it becomes a little easy in the process.  It takes courage to share snippets of your life with the world. They may not believe you, they may not accept what you say but in your heart, you just wanted to share.  In those long eight years, there were only two instances when I participated in WordPress’s prompts, Post A Day Challenge back in 2011 and a few weeks of Weekly Photo  Challenge when it was earlier introduced. I don’t post much of photos now, they eat up my free space but I have a separate blog on photography called COLORS. They are mostly high-resolution shots I took over the years.  I hope you would visit the site if you have time.  Shameless plugging!

When you are into  blogging, you read and listen to a diversity of voices from other bloggers.  Despite the changes that happen in our lives there is somewhat a similarity in our journeys – we love to share the laughter and the tears, our triumphs and fears, the  joy we get when other bloggers notice what we write about.
