This is Nate enjoying another day at the mall.
I am cleaning my “thought box” transferring most of those writings to my journal. Then I found this wonderful quote from Anna Quindlen in her book, Blessings.
“Life is made of moments, small pieces of silver amidst long stretches of tedium. It would be wonderful if they came to us unsummoned, but particularly in lives as busy as the ones most of us lead now, that won’t happen. We have to teach ourselves now to live, really live . . . to love the journey, not the destination.”
Always great to see carefree children enjoying their childhood. They need to do that, before the strains and cares of being an adult begin to consume their lives. Your quote is very pertinent. Our lives consist of small moments to treasure, inside a whirlwind of routine and worry.
Best wishes, Pete.

My daughter and son-in-law make it a point to let Nate enjoy his childhood. Time flies so easily and before we know it, the kids have grown.
I love that part where it says, the journey is better than the destination. We learn a lot when we face the rugged terrain that life brings.
Thanks Pete!

Those are one-liner thoughts that pop up now and then. what’s good about it is that you can expand them a bit later or when you are inspired. Some are just quotes like this one. Thanks Lori!
