Nissa calls this role reversal. I laughed out loud imagining a smiling Nate having this conversation with his dad.
Role Reversal
Nate: “Daddy, what color is this?”
Obet: “Yellow!”
Nate: “Very good!”
Hahaha. Smart boy.
Sometimes, I am amazed at the quick way kids learn things. He is two and a half-year old going on twenty.
I agree, kids are quick learners these days 🙂

Oh My, what a beautiful family! I can see the love radiating from them. What a joy it is to see a family so full of love. Children learn at an incredible rate and I love seeing that moment when they discover something for the very first time. You can see the self-pride bloom within them.

Hi Tina, thanks! Nate is at that stage where he learns fast and I am simply amazed by it all. They brought him to an amusement park last Thursday, rode on a giant wheel and Nissa said he was fascinated by the view of Metro Manila.

I adore the look on a child’s face when they encounter something new for the first time and then discover that they love it. The transformation of expression is like a blow by blow of what is going on in their minds. It has to be one of my very favorite things on the planet!

I agree with you Tina. I remember those shots Nissa took of Nate when he had his first airplane ride last year. That curious expression, that puzzled look. When he was a baby, he used to be afraid of the sound of airplanes but now every time he hears one, he would say, “airplane, airplane”. And did I tell you that he wants to be an astronaut. Big dreams for one so young…hehehe!
