Just when you thought everything is right with the world, another blow comes into your life that makes you think and pause for a while. And your initial reaction is, “not again”.
It is always hard to accept something that you yourself wants to deny. And sometimes, in your own little world of understanding how God works, you begin to ask “why?”
Arlene, I do ask that often. Each of us has a cross to bear. And yes that cross becomes unbearable sometimes. Sometimes it comes in two’s or three’s and you wonder in deep in your soul and mind how you could carry all the crosses. But we can Arlene! I still struggle but I live with the endless hope that I will be given the answer and upon a shrug I will know that God is behind me. And He is behind you too.
I remember this quote from Mother Teresa, “I know God will not give me anything I can’t handle. I just wish that He didn’t trust me so much”. And I have always believed and affirmed that everything happens for a reason and God will always be there for us, no matter what.
